The Fluke TL175 test leads are the only ones as tough as your meter, featuring patented TwistGuard extendable tip shrouds that meet the highest electrical safety requirements to reduce tip exposure while providing the versatility needed for most measurements. These leads offer adjustable length test tips for use in different measurement environments, including removable 4mm lantern tips that thread onto the lead tip.
Twist Guard test leads boast new WearGuard lead wire wear indication, where the inner contrasting color is exposed when the leads are nicked, scuffed, or otherwise damaged and in need of replacement. Each test lead is covered by two layers of silicone insulation for added protection. The TL175 leads can withstand high temperatures and remain flexible in cold temperatures, with extra-heavy duty strain relief on both probe-end and plug-end, tested beyond 30,000 bends without failure.
The universal input plugs on these test leads are compatible with all instruments that accept standard 4mm shrouded banana plugs, and the probes always show the correct category rating for the tip being used. The exposed probe tip length ranges from 19mm to 4mm (0.75" to 0.16"), with ratings of CAT II 1000V, CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V, 10A maximum, and Pollution Degree 2. They are also environmentally rated for -20 to 55 degree C (-4 to 131 degree F) and altitudes up to 2000m (6,562'), and conform to EN61010-031 standards.
In addition to the TL175, the Fluke TL27 Heavy Duty Test Lead Set provides the convenience of attaching clips, hooks, and grabbers as needed. The silicone DMM test leads are one pair (red, black) of heavy duty EPDM insulated leads with a safety shroud and straight connectors, measuring 60-Inch (1.5 m) long. The set has a 600 V CAT IV, 1000 V CAT III, 10 A rating and is UL listed.
The silicone surface and finger-hugging curves of the Fluke TL27 give the user a comfortable, reliable grip on the accessory, allowing them to focus on making accurate measurements. Expand your testing capability or update your tools with test lead sets and kits, as they are an integral part of the complete measurement system. Worn or under-rated test leads can cause inaccurate readings and pose a serious shock or electrocution hazard if live wires are read as being de-energized, so it is important to use the correct test probe for the application. On average, test leads are replaced every 18 months.
